In today’s conditions, most people are suffering from hair loss, mainly due to genetic reasons and stress, and are thinking about hair transplantation. Although some people do not feel that it is a problem, hair problems can be disturbing for many others. In addition to genetic and stress-related causes, women’s metabolic changes, nutritional deficiencies, excessive weight gain and loss, drug use and severe treatments can also have an effect on hair loss. While searching for solutions, many people try herbal and chemical medicines in the market, cures, shampoos and lotions, serums and many other things. But the credibility and persistence of these products are not yet proven. Rather than seeking a solution like this, you can opt for hair transplant methods that have medically proven and completely permanent results thanks to advancing technology.

Hair transplantation is the process of transferring the hair – which we call grafts – taken from the strong and genetically programmed against hair loss region of the patient – which we call donor area – to the hairless region by harvesting them in a sterile operating room environment. In the first years of its application it was used for men for the male type hair loss but now it is also used for women as well. Since the grafts collected here are resistant to lose, they do not lose their properties once moved and protect their genes even when applied to the hair loss region. So, in fact, as you might have guessed, hair does not fall due to the skin or a specific area, but the genes of the hair root. In addition to hair transplantation, this can also be used for, eyebrows, sideburns, beards and moustaches.

Hair products such as hair spray, jelly, foam, pomade etc. which we use in daily life have nothing to do with hair loss. So, there is no harm in using such products after hair transplantation. If it had such effect, the hair in the donor region would also be affected and lost due to the use of these products. A common cause of hair loss is deficiencies in blood values, primarily zinc and iron. It is necessary that these values to be measured before the hair transplant and if there is a problem, necessary treatments should be applied to turn them back to normal and then the decision of whether or not to have hair transplant operation should be made.
